Dear Readers,
Happy Belated New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful new years eve and a great new years day! i certainly did :)
This year for NYE my boyfriend, Taylor, and i drove to Toronto after i was done work, to ring in the new year with some good conversation, and a lot of laughs at my favorite pub, The Unicorn, on Eglington and Yonge! It was a blast readers! let me tell you!
We got to the pub around 9:15 which is lucky because after 9:30 no one was allowed to get in without having reserved a spot in advance. Anyway when we got inside we noticed that there were no tables, but the really nice door man/ bouncerish guy made us a table! Which was SUPER nice!! (But the staff is always SO friendly there!)
Anyway so we were talking and having fun and drinking some yummy beer and we ate some dinner, and then before we knew it, it was 10 minutes to midnight and the pub was completely crowded! we could barely move! We kinda got mistaken for people with reservations, so we got free champagne too! YESS! The clock striked midnight and i got my new years kiss! It was lovely :)
We decided at around 12:30 that it was about time to leave the pub and head downtown because we heard there was a lot going on... so we paid our bill and were on our way...
On the way to the subway (slightly intoxicated) we said “Happy New Year!” to many people walking bye! Everyone was in such a chipper mood!!! Then at the subway an older lady smiled at me and i said “Happy New Year,” to her and she said it back to me. Then we started to have a conversation, and i asked if she was from Toronto, and she told me that she was born and raised, and that she had also lived all over the world because her husband (of 66 years) was in the air force. You could tell that after so long together, they were still very very much in love... which was quite adorable and inspiring if you ask me. Then she whispered in my ear “i wish the two of you 66 years of happiness, if you can stand it.” and gave me a hug... which was sooo sweet. and made me very very happy...
Then when we got onto the subway, a guy in his early 20’s was on his way home from the bar, and he had a bag filled with sex toys and porn trivia... and next thing you know, a whole bunch of people on the subway were all playing trivia with us... lol.. it was so funny... and i guess we were a little too intoxicated, and having a little too much fun because next thing you know, we were back at the stop we started at... we had made the full subway loop, forgetting entirely about our stop.. but oh well... it was soooo fun!!
when we finally made it downtown i showed taylor the ryerson campus, dundas square, flow 93.5 and my old apartment. Then we went up the roof and chilled there for a bit. A very romantic night indeed :)
Anyway readers, that is my whole NYE story for you...
i hope yours was a good as mine was!
happy 2011! (weird eh?)

p.s. Readers, i am having very odd dreams lately... they have been going on for the past 2 weeks actually... and i am aware this has nothing to do with the above post but i just wanted to share... So i have had 2 different types of dreams that i can remember vividly, and they are happening every single night! its getting annoying, and its kinda freaking me out because i feel like my subconscious is trying to tell me something...
The first dream is about me either being pregnant, or having a baby, and it being a strange looking baby, or a messed up pregnancy in some way... which is so weird.
The second is that Taylor is cheating on me, with either his ex girlfriend or this one girl that i will leave nameless..
I just want these dreams to go away readers, because every morning i wake up feeling like crap because of them. Its like nightmares... i dont know what they mean.. that is all though... maybe someone can explain what they mean to me?
