Good evening Marvi Readers,

I JUST got back from the beach. I spent the afternoon just swimming, relaxing and reading in the sun with my daddy and brothers. It was alot of fun, and i got a bit of a tan/burn so thats good news too if you look at it from a certain perspective lol... Try not to think about the fact that burning is not healthy for skin... lol Yah lets just overlook that :P This weekend has actually been quite fun... and that is mainly because i didnt have to work but also because i got to go to the drive in last night with pals :D The four of us saw the movies "Get Him To The Greek," and "Killers." They were pretty good movies but not like GREAT. I liked "Get Him To The Greek," better than "Killers," but that may be because i didnt really watch the second movie, i kinda fell asleep. Ah well... I had a very nice time with my chums though, it was a fab time with lots of laughs and happy times!

SmartyPants Has De-Friended You From Facebook...

Heyo loves of my life,
I just off work like half an hour ago and am therefore VAIR tired. But dont worry... im gaining my energy back with Pumpernickle bread, peanut butter and milk! yay and YUM. Its weird because normally i am not a peanut butter fan... but the odd time i get a crave for it... And then its delish!!! And today was obviously one of those craving days... lol... Also there was nothing else to eat in the house and i was STARVING!!! lol but that isnt the point... wow i can carry on about peanur butter for an awfully long time cant i? yes i can is the answer to my own question. lol
So what shall we talk about today? HMM?? Oh i know!!! I have ALMOST written 100 posts on here and we will def have to celebrate that when i write the 100th one! Which should be this week or next, depending how much time i have on my hands for things like this... It is kinda more unlikely that it will be this week because my computer is still not charged and thats annoying and also i have to work alot... so ya :P
But i kinda also dont wanna charge my computer really until summer is over... I get to attached to it and end up wasting the entire day just doing pointless things on there... so i think it would be best if the only computer i can access is the one downstairs... because its annoying to have to go to it all the time.
ok babes i am so tired... so once again i am not going to say much really... boo

Oh Dear Readers...

Im Sorta in a state of pure confusiosity... But kinda not... But kinda...

Its difficult to explain to you on here, and by that i mean i dont really want to share about the confusion on here atm :D ... All you guys can know is that i am feeling footloose and fancy free :P Also i feel top notch and much better then in past few days... although yesterday i was feeling pretty darn good too!!! YAY! But anywayyy... Im sure there is something for me to RANT about today... And hopefully it wont be a celeb because i think i have overdosed on celeb rants lately... havent i? ok hold on one brief minute while i figure out something to chat to you all about!!! OKAY??? lol

Dog denied chance to run for mayor

BOWMANVILLE — A dog just can't win in a human world.

Genny, the three-year black Lab, was denied her papers to run for Clarington mayor Monday morning after a municipal clerk said she didn't qualify for the position because of canine genes.

"Her nomination was rejected even before we could sign the papers," said Genny's owner Marven Whidden. "We're disappointed but not surprised. Genny has more support in this town than any candidate running."

But the ambitious pooch isn't about to play dead as of yet. Whidden is hoping residents petition town hall for her candidacy or perhaps a law student could take up the cause and challenge the qualifications required for nomination.

"It has to be a person to be qualified to run in the election," said Patti Barrie, chief marketing officer of the municipal clerk's office. "She's not a person, she's a dog."

Whidden began a campaign several weeks ago on his blog that stated if he had 100 supporters for Genny, he would file papers on her behalf to run in Ward 3. He received so many responses from residents in other wards that he decided mayor was the way to go.

The main message, he said, is people are fed up with city councillors who don't listen to residents and a dog could do a better job.

Today i feel significantly better, much less sad... i have realized that like, although seemingly crap for the last little while, could be worse... I was not at rock bottom, although it felt as if i was... and things can easily improve and HAVE easily improved.
Anyway i just thought you would all like to know that...
OK so lets talk about Miley Cyrus... Also known as Hannah Montana... Also known as Crapzilla...  But thats just my opinion... But anyway today i was shown one of her more recent videos for the song "Cant be Tamed," and i for one was quite terrified and the word PROSTITOT (Prepubescent girls who dress like 25 year old hookers) came to mind... I'm just saying... Ill post the link on here if you want...

I Burnt My Hand On The Oven Of Love And Realised Things Couldnt Get Much Worse.

On The plus side, when things are at the worst they could possibly be, that means the only thing that can happen to you is improvments... Now im not saying things are absolutely terrible, but sometimes, normally when i am alone, with time to think, thats when the pain starts... thats when things get terrible... Otherwise, surrounding myself with friends and family and television and books, i could numb the feeling, or at the very least push it aside for a certain amount of time. Why cant feelings go away when the person that brought on the feeling in the first place no longer is a part of your life... wouldnt that be so much simpler? I think it would be. Wouldnt it be wonderful if when someone does something to you that is hurtful, and sad, if you could just forget them... in your anger and madness just forget they ever existed? But that wouldnt be good either would it... A few weeks ago i had a conversation with a good friend of mine... and lets call him Tyler... and he asked me if, given the option, in a purely fictional world obviously, if i was able to erase all memory of my past with a certain person.. would i? the good and the bad... everything... and i would be left with no ill feelings, no sadness, but then, i would also be left without the lessons that the past year and a half has taught me, and i would also be left without memory of the good times that i had with that person.. and there were A LOT of good times... So there you go i guess.. The emotions "sad" and "happy" go hand in hand kinda dont they?

Heartbreak Hotel

I have checked into Heartbreak hotel readers, and im sorry that i keep bringing you down with all of my sadness, but there is no sense in masking my emotions... I always want to be real on here ya know?
But anyway i will keep my spirits up as much as i can... after all today isnt a total sad day! I had a job interview here in town and i have another at 7 tonight!!! And also it was my friend Eliesha's birthday dinner which was nice! My second mummy Pauline, cooking a yummy meal of chicken and potatoes!!!
But again, anyway, i really dont have a TON more to say, because i am dead set on finishing this series of books (that i have already read once) called "The Confessions Of Georgia Nicolson." I Dont Believe You When You Say Dont Come Around Here No More

Have you ever been for something that everyone in your life was completely against? Did you feel so strongly about it that you felt every person around you was completely ignorant of the reality of the situation? Have you ever felt so lost and dazed and confused because your world has been suddenly turned upside down? Have you ever realized that you are a part of a lose lose situation? Have you ever felt physical pain over an emotion? Have you ached for someone you were no good for? Has a relationship ended that you knew shouldnt have? Can you look back on that said relationship and pin point the exact point where it went wrong? did you realize that it wasnt your fault at all though you feel entirely at blame? Have you ever cried yourself to sleep over someone who just doesnt seem to care? Have you ever counted memories to see if the good out weighs the bad? Have you found yourself wanting the past to return again? Have you ever listened to a song and felt like it was written specifically for your situation? And then cried? Have you ever felt like the world was against you? Have you ever found comfort in a pillow and a good book? Have you ever had to force yourself to laugh? Have you ever realized everything is going to be ok? Have you ever tried to find yourself again? Have you ever started to laugh again after a bad chapter in your life? Have you ever had a weak day, where all you should do was lay in bed and feel sorry for yourself? Have you ever thanked your friends and family for always being there for you? Will you thank them now?

I lied to you readers, i promised that my "you know who" chapter of life was over... i became a smitten kitten for another but found little comfort in that sadly. Then i let myself care about "you know who" again, and i thought maybe things could get better... I was wrong... i let him back into my heart and that was a really stupid thing to do. You are witnessing a broken heart readers. You are witnessing a stupid girl who just needs to let go and move on. You are listening to the confessions of a drama queen. You have read about me for nearly 7 months. A ton has changed... but maybe not the right things. I cant promise you i will move on... but i sure as hell am going to try. I cant promise you that i can stop loving him... he will always have a place in my heart.

Anyway readers, sorry about being sappy, or soppy or whatever. I was told you like reality... Well this is as real as it gets... My diary that i am sharing with you.

Oh My God

Hope using the word "God" in my title hasnt offended any of my lovely readers... I am just in the most cheesed mood ever right now and that is thanks to the rude awakening that i got this morning and then the lecture that i got followed by some yelling and storming off. Lovely... just bloody wonderful... Heres the thing, if someone wants to talk to me then talk to me, engage in a conversation, dont sit there taking notes like a therapist. I do not need therapy, and therefore i dont want you to write down everything that i say and then analyze it in an annoyingly "knowing" way. Dont be too judgmental, that will only piss me off. Dont talk at me. If you want to have a conversation with me then please, have one but treat me as an adult, engage in a two sided conversation, not one where you are talking and talking in a derogatory way and i cant get a word in edgewise. It doesnt help listing my faults, i am more likely to shut you out that way. Lecturing is just annoying and although i do need your advice as you are older and more experienced than i am, i do not want to listen to you nag me about everything in the world. Its really annoying. If i finally get a word in and you dont like what i said, dont get up from the table and choose to just end the conversation, isnt it a bit hypocritical of you to do that? As i have not got up from the table yet and you have said alot of things that have annoyed me...Also realize that you dont need to tell me all my faults, because i know what they are anyway, and its just going to make me feel bad if you list them, and that then will make me shut down completely. Last but not least, know that i DO love you, a ton, and your opinion is valuable to me. Just please, next time you want to have a conversation, have a 2 sided conversation, dont just talk at me forever and ever.

A Wink is As Good As A Nod To A Blind Badger

Good afternoon babes,
Its tuesday and its bright and sunny out today, which is obviously your daily weather report from yours truly... Did you all know i used to be a weather girl? Now mind you this was only on local television, but it is le true fact all the same that your very own SmartyPants, delivered the weather each day to the locals.. :D But anyway i seem to keep getting off topic.
I would love to tell you that i am in a happy mood today my dear loved ones. But unfortunately that is not the case. Rather i am in a completely pooey mood today do to some stupid person that i care about very much, that continues to be mean. I wont get too deeply into it, i just like to vent on here, but im sure if you follow my blog you would know that. I will say though that there comes a time in a relationship where you either let go, or work extra hard to hold on.. but heres the thing, if one of the people in the relationship wants to let go and the other is trying to fight to hold on, there is a problem, and the relationship is, sadly over. Im starting to face this fact, as it seems like i am the one holding on and they are the one letting go... Anyway i am really and truly depressing myself so lets move on...
So im not sure if i have told you but i have been searching far and wide for a job so i can have even the smallest amount of money in my pocket. and guess what.. I FOUND ONE! (and it lasted only two shifts) i also wont get too into that story but think "Sexual harassment in the workplace"... and no i did not sexually harass anyone!!
But anyway, i dont really have much else to say do i?
nope. oh yes, GLEE is on tonight!!! which shall be exciting if you like that sort of this.

Awesome To Suck

Hey beautiful people,
Today is a crappy rainy Thursday, but ah well, it is what you make of it isnt it?
Anyway, today i was surfing the net for something to blog about when i came across this article titled "7 Awesome Things That Suck When Mixed With Anything Else." And i thought that not only i could mention the 7 things in the article, but i could also share with you other GREAT things, that suck when mixed with another. lol And although you readers rarely comment, i will still ask you to... if you can think of anything AWESOME that SUCKS when mixed with something else... please tell me in a comment!!! MAYBE YOU WILL WIN A PRIZE! (yes that is how desperate i am for people to leave comments!) lol, but obviously you will need to leave your name so you can actually win the said prize!!
Anyway, according to the article, fitness is AWESOME, but if mixed with a second, non fitness concept, things start to get less healthy and more... SICK... for instance, mixing fitness with loving your cat... That makes catfitness, and that = SUCK
Another thing the article says is that the word extreme is AWESOME but when mixed with something boring, it starts to SUCK! For instance, EXTREME TRAIL MIX, or EXTREME BATHROOM TISSUE! lol But i think you readers are starting to get the gist of what this article was saying, so i think i will try to to think up some awesome things that suck when mixed...
Well...the first awesome object is chocolate!  My second is carrots, but when mixed together, you have some sick, disgusting, SUCKish thing in your mouth...
Ya thats all i can think of... lol, so shall we move onto another discussion topic??

Then pick a number between 0 and 9
Double the number
Add 8 to the result

Yes i am blogging for the er... third time today but i think thats ok because one of the posts was just about the new layout i have on my blog, and therefore : it doesnt really count. Anyway i am writing right now because i am not in a happy mood. I feel sick, i feel grouchy, and certain people are CHEESING ME. But heres the thing loves, i will not let this mood ruin my evening... no lads and lasses, no i wont. I am going to put on my big girl pantalonies, and brighten myself up. I will look at my evening like a half full glass of water. Every cloud will have a silver lightening and no one will rain on my metaphorical parade! I think i have made myself clear... have i not? I do believe i have... Delci if you are reading this i would like to say TWO things to you... number one... dont i sound like your father or polonius, rambling on like this? and number two.... bravo on the funniness of your last two blog posts. they brought some much needed laughter to my evening! :D You have still got the legs of comedy and i am OH SO PROUD! 
But anyway i will move on from this now and speak about the show Glee... Which is on tonight... which i am so thrilled about... If you love musicals and you love music, and you love comedy, this is the show for you... unless you are male... in which case i dont think you will feel the same about the show as us females do... But i would like to share with you my love of certain characters, and it can be explained very briefly and easily.

Sub Pumps, The Samba Reggae Dance, and Something For Delci!

Good noon readers! Today i have many things to teach you... including what a sub pump is and also how to dance the samba raggae!!! so bloody exciting dont ya think? On one of my previous posts i taught you all how to do the mexican hat dance, and one of you lovely readers (probably Delci) commented that they would like to learn more about dancing, and so i am willing to teach you all!!! and if you can, it would make me laugh a lot if you could post videos of yourselves doing these dances on one of my Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History facebook pages!!! It would bring joy and laughter to my life!!! And we all know how much i love humour!!! But anyway i will carry on to my lessons now! teehee

Thanks to a friend of mine, i am now well informed about what a sub pump is and i thought i would share this info with all of you because it will make all of you even smarter then you already are! which is an exciting thing!!! So here is the specific explanation that my friend gave me about what a sub pump is!!! Drum roll please!!!

SmartyPants: What is a sub pump?

Friend: Well in a building, a house for an example, water caqn get into the foundation, which is really really bad for it!!

SmartyPants: mhm...

Friend: So they have this barier around the foundation that pretty much catches the water and brings it to one spot in the house... which is then pumped back out either through a hose or another tunnel that feeds into the sewer... And if the pump breaks or stops working and its raining hard outside the water rises at this one spot and has no place to go... Which normally leads to a flooding basement!

So there you have it... dont you feel more informed?? I do!!!

Now for the moment you have all (or one of you) have been waiting for!! Here is a detailed explanation of how to dance the SAMBA RAGGAE!!! yay! i know i know... its SUPER exciting!!! :D  yay!!! Drum Roll PLEASE!!!

Step 1 Face your partner, keep arms straight, not bending the elbow and interlock fingers. The man leads and the woman follows. Samba reggae consists of shifting weight from foot to foot more so than it is taking a full step with each movement.
Step 2 Slide the right foot back slightly on the first beat of the music, putting the full weight of your body on it. The man starts with this move; the woman mirrors the move except backward, sliding her left foot forward slightly and putting all of her weight on it.
Step 3 Shift body weight subtly while sliding the left foot back onto the ball of the foot; the left heel does not hit the floor at all for the man. The move should be very slight. The woman mirrors this by sliding the right foot forward, letting the body's weight shift to the ball of the left foot; her right heel should not touch the floor.
Step 4 Raise the right foot due to the ball change and let the full weight of the body shift as the right leg comes fully to the floor. The woman mirrors by lifting the left leg because of weight shift and placing it back on the floor flat anticipating beginning the backward basic over to complement the forward basic of her partner.
Step 5 Listen to the music to guide pace and rhythm of the dance. Samba reggae music is in 2/4 time. There are three steps to each basic move, which can sometimes make the counting process confusing.

Step 6 Place the word "and" in between beat counts to assist in timing dance steps, an example is 1 and 2, 3 and 4 counting. However, use the music to guide and instruct on dance movements. Dancing samba reggae is about feeling the music and feeling the dance more so than counting and timed steps.

Im not going to lie readers, i dont really have much to say or comment on with this dance, there isnt a lot i can make seem funny.
